Refund policy

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) is issued by Faye, a brand owned and operated by FAYE DESIGNS LLP(“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), and governs the terms and conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted in connection with purchases made through www.fayestore.in (“Website”).

By placing an order with us, the customer (“Customer”, “you”) acknowledges, understands, and agrees to be bound by the terms of this Policy.

1. GENERAL POLICY STATEMENT

All sales are final. Returns and/or refunds will only be considered where:

  • The product received is materially damaged at the time of delivery; or
  • The product received is substantially different from the product ordered (as determined solely by the Company)

No other reasons, including but not limited to change of mind, personal taste, size issues, incorrect order placement, or courier delays shall qualify for return or refund.

2. MANDATORY CLAIM CONDITIONS

To initiate a claim under this Policy, the Customer must:

  • Notify us in writing within 48 hours of delivery, via care@fayestore.in
  • Provide the following:
    • Order ID and contact information
    • Detailed description of the issue
    • Clear photographic and/or video evidence of the damage or discrepancy
    • Unboxing video clearly showing the sealed package being opened (strongly recommended and may be required)
  • Failure to comply with these requirements will result in the automatic denial of the return or refund request.

3. RETURN AUTHORIZATION & PROCESS

If a claim is approved:

  • A written Return Authorization will be issued
  • A prepaid return shipping label may be provided at our discretion
  • The item must be:
    • Shipped back within three (3) calendar days of Return Authorization
    • In unused, unworn condition, with all original tags, seals, and packaging intact
    • Accompanied by all materials originally delivered with the product
  • Returns sent without authorization or in violation of this Policy will be rejected and returned to sender at their cost, or destroyed without refund at our sole discretion.

4. NON-RETURNABLE / NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

Under no circumstances will returns or refunds be accepted for the following:

  • Products that have been used, worn, altered, damaged, or mishandled by the Customer
  • Products returned without prior written authorization
  • Items not reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • Customized or personalized items
  • Gift cards, vouchers, or promotional items
  • Items marked as final sale or sold under discount offers
  • Packaging complaints (e.g., dented box, cosmetic issues) where the product itself is not damaged
  • Delays caused by courier companies or force majeure events

5. REFUNDS

If a refund is approved:

  • It will be processed to the original payment method only
  • Processing time may take up to ten (10) business days after the returned item is received and approved
  • The Company is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or banks
  • Refunds will be for the product value only; original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the issue is due to our error

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability shall be limited to the amount paid by the Customer for the product in question
  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
  • We are not liable for third-party actions, including shipping partners and payment gateways
  • Our obligations under this Policy are strictly limited to the terms outlined herein

7. WAIVER AND MODIFICATION

No waiver or modification of this Policy shall be valid unless provided in writing by an authorized representative of the Company. Any oral communications, including via phone or social media, shall be considered non-binding.

8. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, to the exclusion of all other venues.
